The Purpose of My Project

The purpose of my project is to ensure environmental educators have a sustainable career that is purpose driven, enjoyable and prosperous.

I am in conversation with former Outward Bound instructor and career mentor Louise Karch about successful career management for our community. Understanding our unique transferable skills is vital.

We asked a question earlier this month and I’ve decided to keep the form open. Your answer will help me (and all of us) understand our field on a much deeper level.

Transferable skills are the ones you take with you from role to role. You may use them to manage data, people or things.

What transferable skills have you gained as an environmental educator?
