Earth Day Twitter Chat

It’s Earth Week. In past years, this week has been the big finale of what I referred to as “Earth season,” the period between February and Earth Day.

Yes, every day is indeed Earth Day. However, when you do community events, there is definitely an “Earth season.”

This year I will engage with Earth Week in a new way. Talaterra will participate in the Earth Week Twitter Chat tomorrow (Tuesday, April 20). This chat will be hosted by the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE) and the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF). The purpose of the chat is to explore taking a more collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to environmental education.

During this chat, NAAEE and NEEF will ask eight questions. The NAAEE account (@TheNAAEE) and the NEEF account (@NEEF) will each post four questions. They have provided the questions in advance, so you can answer them and craft your Tweets before the one-hour long chat begins at 1:00 PM (Eastern).

Download the questions and the guidelines here.

I will also be active on Twitter this week and would love to engage with you there. You’ll find me at @Talaterra.

I look forward to engaging with you as we move forward to celebrate the 51st anniversary of Earth Day on April 22.
